Fr. Flanagan preaches at Saint Paul's
Fr. Desmond Flanagan, O.Carm., celebrated Mass for a congregation of 49 members and friends of St. Conleth's Catholic Heritage Group. In his sermon, Fr. Flanagan emphasised the missionary faith of Saint Paul, urging those present not to be ashamed to stand up for their faith in today's world.

Of particular note is the fresco of the conversion of
Saint Paul on the Sanctuary wall
Following Mass, some of the pilgrims made their way to Queen St., the nearby birthplace of Blessed Columba Marmion, O.S.B., who was baptised in Saint Paul's Church.

This was a very prayerful Holy Mass. Fr gave a powerful sermon. I wish there were more sermons preached like that. Will you be organising more Holy Masses like this in the future?
I was on this pilgrimage also. It was a powerful spiritual event. I would never have thought of making a pilgrimage to Dublin but why not?
Father Flanagan was right about Ireland not having lost the faith but its been hidden and that we should take the example of St. Paul who proclaimed the faith everywhere.
The pilgrimage to the home of Blessed Marmiom was also really moving. We should say Our Lady's Rosary in public like this more often.
Could you tell me when this event will happen next? I would be very interested in coming to participate.
